When God Asks You For 'Little'.

Sometimes God isn't asking us for huge things - sometimes He only asks us for little.

Over 16 years ago, I felt prompted to have my 'little' toddler boys help make 'small' homemade gifts, learn a 'couple' Christmas songs and carol to a 'few' friends and family. This 'little' prompting I eventually understood to come from The Lord.

Our Little Christmas Caroling Gig

Beginning that very first year I saw how my 'little' boys were being schooled in community outreach, by something as small as making 'little' homemade gifts, singing a 'few' songs to a 'few' people, household by household, on a mission to spread a 'little' Christmas cheer.

God wasn't requiring an entire choir or big expensive gifts to give. All He required were 'little' boys, 'little' inexpensive homemade gifts, a 'few' songs and a household or recipient of at least 'one'.

Isn't Bigger Always Better?

In a world that tries to convince us that big or more is always better, The Lord proves to us time and time again, that sometimes little is all He's asking of us. All that was needed for our 'little' Christmas caroling gig to begin were 3 'little' boys.

As our 'little' Christmas Caroling Gig continued for a grand total of 15 years, our group only expanded to 5 little boys, when two friends were added to the caroling mix a few years in. Still a small group of Christmas caroling boys to keep things 'little, small, intimate and personal.'

God Using Little to Accomplish Big

Our caroling list grew every year. We began with 40 stops, growing to 300 stops in the height of our caroling years. You may be thinking, "Well that's ALOT of caroling stops, not a 'little'!" and you would be correct. It was alot, but The Lord still used this 'Little Christmas Caroling Gig' to accomplish this big request.

God Can and Does Use 'Little' to Accomplish BIG Things!
