NOW AVAILABLE in our shop are The Lavine Boys' Christmas Caroling Kits that will help get you started!
We offer a 'Basic Kit' that contains only the basics that every caroling gig will need to gift a small gift. This kit is designed for those of you who have that creative gene and have your own ideas of small gifts to give to your caroling recipients.
We also offer more 'Specific Kits' that will contain basic items, plus additional items specific to particular gifts given - for those who aren't as creative, want the convenience of getting most of the items in one spot, or
would like to gift a caroling kit to someone.

**All kits were created in the fashion of how we did them. Kits contain materials for 'gift making', so like my boys, your carolers can also participate in the joy of creating and assembling their gifts to give. Ribbons will need measured, cut, threaded and tied; tags will need cut out; bags and tags will need hole punched; labels stuck on bags; the actual gifts made or sorted, etc... Ingredients for most gifts are not included. It seemed more economical that most of these items be acquired by you. Please check the individual kit you are interested in as to its specific contents. (Many items needed you probably have on hand or are easily assessable at your nearest grocery or dollar store).**

The Kits:
M&M® Poem Caroling Kit
The M&M® Poem Kit is based on the “Gift to Give” from Book 2, “Hidden Messages”. This gift was among the easiest gifts we gave over the years. The boys loved assembling them (with the occasional taste test.) and giving them (because it was a gift they would have liked to receive.)
Included in this kit are 6 sorting cups, small zipper lock bags, Christmas tag labels, M&M® Poems, curling ribbon, caroling list, Missed You tags, kit instruction sheet, highlighter, a “Lavine Boys’ Christmas Caroling Adventures” Pen, a Christmas caroling resource for practicing Christmas Carols, and access to the M&M® Poem Demo page containing a step-by-step video demonstration.
All you will need to provide is a bag of green and red M&Ms®, scissors, ruler or tape measure and a hole punch. You will be able to make 24 M&M® Poem gifts.

Your carolers will need to stick labels to bags, measure & cut ribbons, cut out poem tags, hole punch poem tags and bags, count and sort candies, fill bags with candies, string curling ribbons through poem tags and bags, tie and curl ribbon.**
Gingerbread Man Cookie Caroling Kit
The Gingerbread Man Cookie Kit is based on the “Gift to Give” from Book 2, “Run, Run as Fast as You Can”. The 'Spicy Cutout Cookies' as we refer to them, have been a favorite of mine since my childhood, as well as my boys in theirs.
Included in this kit is the ‘Spicy Cutout Cookie’ recipe, along with a child-size rolling pin, Gingerbread Man cookie cutter, ribbons, cookie bags, Christmas tags, caroling list, Missed You tags, kit instruction sheet, highlighter and a “Lavine Boys’ Christmas Caroling Adventures” Pen, a Christmas caroling resource for practicing Christmas Carols, and access to the Gingerbread Man Cookie Demo page containing a step-by-step video demonstration.
All you will need to provide are the cookie recipe ingredients, scissors, ruler or tape measure and a hole punch. Bake your cookies, decorate them as desired, and everything else you need to package 24 of your gifts is in the kit.

Cinnamon Applesauce Ornament Caroling Kit
The Cinnamon Applesauce Ornament Kit is based on the “Gift to Give” from Book 3, “Please Don’t Eat the Ornaments”. These ornaments smell 'heavenly', from mixing the dough to hanging on the tree years later! These were fun to decorate and are beautiful whether decorated fancy or simply.
Included in this kit is the ‘Cinnamon Applesauce Ornament’ recipe, a bag of cinnamon, along with a child-size rolling pin, two Christmas cookie cutters, a straw, parchment paper, fabric ribbons for hangers, glue, sandpaper, small zipper lock bags, Christmas tags, curling ribbon, caroling list, Missed You tags, kit instruction sheet, highlighter, a “Lavine Boys’ Christmas Caroling Adventures” Pen, a Christmas caroling resource for practicing Christmas Carols, and access to the Cinnamon Applesauce Ornament Demo page containing a step-by-step video demonstration.
All you will need to provide is applesauce, scissors, ruler or tape measure, a hole punch and your preferred craft items for decorating. Make your ornaments, decorate them as desired, and everything else you need to package 24 of your gifts is in the kit.

Basic Kit #1
The Basic Kit #1, is a generic kit for those who have their own small ‘Gift to Give’ ideas, and would like the convenience of having all the packaging for 24 gifts in one spot, along with the additional “The Lavine Boys’ Christmas Caroling Kit” resources.
In this kit you will receive enough packaging for 24 small gifts, including: 2”x3” zipper lock bags, curling ribbon, Christmas tags, 2 Missed You tags with garland, a Caroling List, Kit Instruction sheet, a highlighter, a “Lavine Boys’ Christmas Caroling Adventures” pen, a Christmas caroling resource for practicing Christmas Carols, and access to the Basic Kit #1 Demo page containing a step-by-step video demonstration.
All you will need to provide is your personal unique gift to give.

Salt Dough Ornament Kit
The Salt Dough Ornament Kit is based on the “Gift to Give” from Book 2, “Salty”. These were fun to make and there are so many different ways to decorate them. The boys loved making and decorating them.
Included in this kit is the ‘Salt Dough Ornament’ recipe, a bags of salt & flour, along with a child-size rolling pin, two Christmas cookie cutters, a straw, parchment paper, fabric ribbons for hangers, glue, sandpaper, small zipper lock bags, Christmas tags, curling ribbon, caroling list, Missed You tags, kit instruction sheet, highlighter, a “Lavine Boys’ Christmas Caroling Adventures” Pen, a Christmas caroling resource for practicing Christmas Carols, and access to the Salt Dough Ornament Demo page containing a step-by-step video demonstration.
